The Meteorological products/information provided by the MO Lahore for aviation activities are
- Now- cast for Lahore city and its surroundings for next three (03) hours for general public and media.
- Short range forecast from 01-02 days ( 24 & 48 hours forecast) for Punjab and Kashmir regions
- 03 days district forecast for all districts of Punjab and Kashmir region general public and media.
- Weather warning (if any) of heavy rainfall, thunder storm, dust storm etc over the region for Punjab and Kashmir to local authorities and media.
- Local warning of heavy rainfall, dust storm etc over Lahore city and its surroundings (50 km around the station for aviation purpose.
- Current weather observation on hourly and half hourly basis. i.e METAR, SPECI.
- Forecasts; Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAFs), Area/Local forecasts, Route Forecast, Landing and take off forecasts (TREND).
- Warnings: Aerodrome warning, Warning for light/small aircrafts, Wind Shear & Turbulence warnings and SIGMETs for whole FIR.
- Flight Folder: Significant weather Charts (SIG wx charts) and Prognostic Charts ( upper air wind and temperature charts of different levels.
- Medium range forecast (04-10 days) of all main cities of Punjab and Kashmir in the form of Meteogram (Based GFS Model) including wind speed & direction, Temperature, cloudiness and precipitation etc.
