Synoptic Situation
A westerly wave is present over western/upper parts of the country and likely to further strengthen from 22nd May (Sunday).
Weather Forecast for Thursday (Night)
Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain districts of the Punjab province. However, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain-wind/thunderstorm may occur in Kashmir, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Narowal districts during night. Gusty/Dust raising winds are also expected in south/central Punjab during the period.
Weather Forecast for Friday
Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain districts of the Punjab province. However, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain-wind/thunderstorm may occur in Kashmir, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal while dust-thunderstorm with light rain is expected in Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Layyah and D.G Khan districts. Gusty/Dust raising winds are also expected in south/central Punjab during the period. Temperature are likely to subside in most parts of the region during the period.
